| Description | This is one of two quests required to gain access to the third floor of the monk tower in the Village of Shin.
1) Speak to Brother Lycabe on the second floor. (+23, +43, -162) 2) Speak to Saphis Once-Blessed in the Forsaken City. He is not far from the entrance. (0, -45, +28) 3) You must find four clues within the Forsaken City. These are all book shelves that you must harvest. Each of them has monsters surrounding them who must be dealt with. They are at: Alchemic Alcove: +39, +15, -26 Clerical Conclave: -52, -70, +5 Esoteric Library: +55, -58, +95 Hall of Discourse: -53, +15, -22 Each of these cabinets results in a page. You must examine the page for the update. TIP: It should be noted that if you raise your Faction with the Forsaken City to be threatening or better that you can harvest all but the Esoteric Library step without getting aggro. To raise Forsaken City faction you must kill elementals near the Nizari entrance. BUG: Currently you will only receive the quest update if you examine your notes while inside of the Forsaken City. If you aren't getting the update then you should zone back in and then examine the note and it will work. 4) Return to Brother Lycabe for your reward. He will ask you what you learned. The correct answer is to "Learn from the past and apply this wisdom to future trials." |
